Containers for Change

Here at Parkfield Primary School, we are proud of our ongoing commitment to look after our environment by encouraging better recycling and waste management behaviours in our community. Thus we are very excited to have been recognised as a Container for Change Drop Off Point since 1 October 2020. We are raising funds to purchase resources for all students and to assist with funding improvements across the school, such as resurfacing our undercover area. We would love our Parkfield community to support us in this venture by dropping off eligible containers to our collection point near the Undercover Area. Look for the big blue Sulo bins and help raise money for our P&C. Alternatively, you can donate eligible containers directly to Containers for Change depots and/or vending machines by quoting our scheme identification number C10313397. Please keep this number in a safe place. Not all containers are eligible. Here’s a way to remember which ones you can return:
  • Aluminium is a win.
  • Glass and plastic are always in.
  • Steel and paper are good to go.
  • But milk and wine bottles are a no!
